"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Gunther Weezul Enters The Studio To Record New Album

Upstate NY doom metal cultists Gunther Weezul have entered the studio to begin recording their 3rd full length album "Join Us." Vocalist/Reverend Jann Kasey Dorr comments, "Join us to usher in the end of days with Gunther Weezul who is currently recording the soundtrack to the apocalypse in a secret underground studio."

Gunther Weezul has also officially announced the addition of new members to the fold, Joe Keyser
of Relapse recording artists Skinless and Kevin Carley of Wasteform. They join existing members-
Guitarist Adam Gregoire (also of hardcore heavy hitters Brawler) and Jann Kasey Dorr (formally
of Section 8), making the band a "super group" of Upstate NY extreme musicians.

"We cordially invite you to welcome our new line up featuring Joe Keyser- former maniac bassist
of Skinless and Kevin Carley former drummer of the disgustingly brutal Wasteform," says Rev
Dorr. "With the addition of these new members to our cult...Gunther Weezul is unquestionably a band not to be fucked with..."

The following press release was also issued about the band:

"Formed in 2004 by Jann Kasey Dorr and Guitarist Mike Gregoire, Gunther Weezul has a unique sound-blending a heavy stoner rock influence with unrelenting breakdowns. This is combined with Dorrs bi-polar vocal style- one moment mesmerizing and hypnotically melodic and next moment tortured and rage filled screams.

"After the untimely death of Mike Gregoire in 2007, Gunther Weezul continued on with Mike's
younger brother Adam taking over on lead guitar. To date, they have released two albums 'The
Demon Lure' and 'The Sons of Perdition.'

"Having only hinted on past albums as to the meaning of the bands name, they promise on this
newest release they will be revealing more information regarding the true nature of the Gunther Weezul..."
