Deserters Releases New Lyric Video For "Optimism's Victim"

Los Angeles hardcore metal outfit Deserters has released a lyric video for "Optimism's Victim," the lead track off upcoming album "The Slow Rhythms Of A Dead-Beat," which will be released September 11th, 2012 by Mediaskare Records. Check out the video clip below. The following press release was also issued:

"'The Slow Rhythms Of A Dead-Beat' picks up where 2011's 'Fail Yourself' EP left off, introducing twelve new chapters examining the harsher side of life, intimate confessions that reveal 'the punishment that dreams induce, the contemplation of suicide, the sociopath's inability to feel, the victim's left in their wake, and God's inability to be.'

"Deserters, who exemplify their own saying, 'scream the things you could never say,' chose to release opening track 'Optimism's Victim' as a dedication to 'people in the past who have held on when there was nothing real to hold.'"
