"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Helhorse Working On New Album, To Play Entire Release At Copenhagen Show

Helhorse has issued the following announcement about working on a new album:

"Throughout the last six months Helhorse has been working intensively on writing new material for their second album, the follow up to the debut album 'For Wolves And Vultures.'

"This time the band has chosen the young talent, Emil Buus Saur, as their producer. Although relatively unknown in the producer circuit, Emil, who has just graduated as sound engineer from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, has already worked on underground productions like Hexis and Stream City, but also mayor Danish rock acts such as Dizzy Mizz Lizzy's 'Live in Concert 2010' og D-A-D's 'DIC.NII.LAN.DAFT.ERD.ARK.'

"We would like to take Helhorse into a tighter, more organic and even more rocking direction. It's still going to be energetic, hard-hitting, southern inspired metal, but with more room for melodies, riffs and composition. After some long good conversations with Emil, we agreed that he is the one that can take us in the direction we want."

The album will be recorded at the legendary Grapehouse Studios in Copenhagen. Besides writing new material, Helhorse has also toured extensively the last 2 months, playing headliner shows in Germany and Austria, Royal Metal Fest in Aarhus, as well as 11 shows as main support for thrash metal giants HateSphere in Denmark.

To give dedicated fans and curious ears a taste of what's to come, Helhorse will host a very special concert, where the band will play the entire new album start to finish. This will take place at the Copenhagen venue Loppen on June 20th.
