Follow the song's haunting lyrics listed below:
"Shadows Alive"
Drawn to the local cemetery, By the Cruel Hand of Fate
Secrets revealed themselves as I walked along the graves
Tragedy has cursed this place it's written in the stones
I meant no disrespect but I've disturbed resting souls
Are eyes now upon me? The air is suffocating
I feel the cold inside my throat
Layers of skin are crawling
All strength from my body draining
Dark Energies!
There's something wrong with this place!
Their presence now felt in my home
Then I saw what I felt behind me
When I looked into the mirror
Materializing gaseous forms
Shadows Alive! Shadows Alive!
They Come at Will!
They have returned!
I have seen them watching me from the stairs
And felt the touch of things from beyond this world
Possessing me with rage
Visions of hideous horrors
Maddening paranoia
Knowing they're here among us
Anticipation with despair. I dread their return, Knowing this is my reality
Peripheral torment, Spirits trespass, in the corners of my eyes, picking apart my sanity
Only once did I stare, Into the eyes, of the unknown
I heard the countless screaming souls of misery!
I DREAD THEIR RETURN!
AT ONE WITH THE SHADOWS!

production quality is overrated. my beef with this is sheerly the cliche and uninspired riffing. the rest is cool. as long as it isn't hissing and sounding like something from 100 years ago, i tell people stfu and stop whining about production. unfortunately many of the reviewers on this site and elsewhere still hold it against artists.

great vocals. but it's missing any worthy riffs.
