8Control Officially Calls It A Day

France's 8Control has issued the following announcement about deciding to call it a day:

"This is it, 8Control is dead. After years we've decided to make an end to it, and split up 8Control. It wasn't an easy decision to take, but seems the best for many reasons. We have tons of great memories we'll keep in mind for life, but it is time to turn the page and move on...

"Even if it's an evidence in our minds that we are grateful to many people, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us during these years in any way: people who went to show, danced/headbanged/made a move etc. at a show, put us on a show, shared anything with us, bought some merch, had a kind word, played with us, talked about us...

"Basically, we want to thank our relatives, our friends, all the bands we met and played with, all the promoters who gave us an opportunity to play, of course all the people at the shows, and one more time anyone showing any kind of interest or support.

"Of course special thank to all these people who have ever played as 8Control, since day one. Some of them for a show, some of other for many years.
