TWISTED SISTER have entered the studio to begin re-recording their classic 1984 effort "Stay Hungry" for a late 2004 release through an as-yet-undisclosed label. "We have the capability to make the world's first re-recorded record the way it should have been," the group's manager, Daniel Stanton of Coallier Entertainment Ltd., stated. " 'Stay Hungry' will be that record. Better than it was before. Better… stronger… faster. As they guys finish laying down all the drums and bass for the entire 'Stay Hungry' record and more songs to boot, guitar tracks are being set for this weekend, then vocals... The rebuilding of this record will make history!"
In other news, TWISTED SISTER have announced plans to hit a number of European countries later in the year, including Spain, Italy, U.K., Hungary, Holland and Germany. In addition, they will be traveling to Brazil and Canada, with more U.S. dates soon to be announced.
