Adramelch Signs With Pure Prog/Pure Steel Records; New LP Due In April 2012

Italian power/progressive metal act Adramelch, featuring Time Machine drummer Sigfrido Percich, has signed a worldwide recording deal with Pure Prog Records/Pure Steel Records. The band's forthcoming third release "Lights From Oblivion" will be released on April 27, 2012 through the label.

Adramelch was founded in 1986 and went on a long hiatus after the 1988 debut release "Irae Melanox." In 2005, the band resurfaced and issued the sophomore album "Broken History" through Underground Symphony Records.

The band commented on the signing:

Thanks to PURE PROG / PURE STEEL we are given the opportunity to spread around, once again, our metal prog rock. We are really excited to be back after some years in partnership with such a label that deeply believes in our believes! Hear it all, Hear it loud!”

Pure Steel's Andreas Lorenz commented:

Adramelch for me has always been one of the leading cult bands in the whole music scene. It’s a long time, but now they are back again! A dream comes true, a new album is ready AND we have the honour to release "Lights From Oblivion"! As I heard the rough mixes it was clear that the band has found again the way to be ahead, this time in a different way. Adramelch’s new material shows a more mature band, knowing 150% what they do. “Lights From Oblivion” has a unique beauty, each song is perfectly defined and arranged, and each song is a little masterpiece full of feeling.

"Lights From Oblivion" will be the first release for sub label Pure Prog Records.
