Converge Finishes Recording Vocals For New Album, Mini-Documentary To Be Released

Converge has posted the following brief statement online about finishing the vocal recording sessions for an upcoming new album:

"Finished vocals for the new Converge album last night. The session was filmed for the upcoming mini-documentary on me by McFarland and Pecci."

Further details on the upcoming Converge album will be announced as they are made available. Photos from the recording sessions have also been posted online via Facebook.

Very excited for this one... I can't help but wonder if this one will see a fall release (as has always been the case) or if by some strange event we will see it sooner.

You'd be horse too if you toured behind "Jane Doe" for God knows how long. :) Bannon has some of the most distinct, truly irate (not just menacing or evil sounding) vocals of the genre but I do love when they bring in other vocalists.

I want the unthinkable: A Converge double album...
