Death's 2-CD Live Album, "Vivus!," Streaming In Full

Death's two-CD live album, entitled "Vivus!" was released this week in select territories and Metalunderground.com readers can now stream the album in full (below). Compiling two separate Death concerts, each recorded in 1998, disc One features the band at the height of their prowess tearing the roof off of the infamous Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles while disc two is a brilliant recording of the band on the festival stage at Dynamo Open Air. The complete tracklisting for both discs can be found below.

"Vivus!" was released on February 28th in North America, today, March 2nd, in the Benelux / Germany. The album is due out March 5th in the UK and rest of Europe. "Vivus!" follows the recent Relapse Records re-issues of "Individual Though Patterns," "The Sound of Perseverance" and "Human." Like those reissues, this collection contains extensive liner notes from previous members and never-before-seen photos of the band. I already have "Live In L.A." but just listened to "Live In Eindhoven", great stuff. Man reminds me just how good those songs are, Chuck was a master of metal songwriting. And again, drums sounded killer.

This 2-cd set is awesome. Have "live in L.A. on dvd, and its killer stuff... Chuck will be greatly missed but its proof that his music will live on and flourish forever. if you havent gone out and bought this cd yet GO NOW!
