DaiTribe (pronounced die - tribe) featuring Ricky Riccardo/bass, Rich Collins/vocals, Tristan '1690' Grigsby/guitar, and Michael 'Cat' Grigsby/drums, was formed in 1998 by Cat, 1690, & Ricky in Chicago. Over the next 5 years, the band wrote, recorded, and toured the United States. In 2005, the group released the direct to radio EP "The Second Coming."

Fast forward to 2012 which finds DaiTribe finishing up work on a brand new full-length album, which is scheduled for release this Spring on True Gemini Records. The as yet untitled album was recorded at Farview Audio with engineer Jason Walsh. DaiTribe has just started the mixing process with engineer Sterling Winfield (Pantera, Hatebreed, Mercyful Fate)

Guitarist Tristan '1690' Grigsby gave an update on the progress of the DaiTribe record: "We've been grinding away in the lab for a while and it's time to open the vault and deliver. This disc is a collection of heavy riff driven songs that are made to be played live... See ya soon!"

More information on the album is expected to be released shortly, including artwork, track listing and upcoming tour dates in support of the release. For further details on DaiTribe, head over to the band's Facebook profile.
