New York death metal band In The Casket has issued a short update following their show supporting Goatwhore and Lock Up, as well as announcing upcoming shows and festival appearances:
Last night was an amazing show that we were so glad to be a part of. getting to share the stage withe metal legends like the great guys in Lock Up as well as Goatwhore and Strong Intention was amazing. Not to mention the sick regional bands Necroptic Engorgement, Tyranize, and Mythology, every band was amazing and it was an unforgettable night.
Last night was also our first night with Kyle on keyboards and third guitar and we couldnt have been happier with how it went. The feedback on the addition was awesome and we cannot wait to get into the studio in a few weeks to get new material out there with Kyle on it.
We are hard at work booking shows and we have some sick ones coming up. We will be playing on some big metal and hardcore fests this summer and traveling to some new areas. We just recently were added on a fest in Maine and another in Alabama, so hopefully some of you not from the Northeast can come check us out. We plan on doing a few more dates down south, the details on them are being worked out and will be announced shortly.
Here are the latest In The Casket tour tour dates:
Feb 15 - The Pickwick Pub in Poughkeepsie, NY
March 2 - Bogies - Albany, NY Dying Fetus, Job for a Cowboy, Volumes, Last Chance to Reason, Necroptic Engorgement, Still I Burn, and A Skin for Dancing In

Sick! Glad to see these guys starting to play more shows in other parts of the country. I saw them and met them in NYC last year and they were amazingly sick live and they were also the coolest and most down to earth guys.
