Spike Cassiday Admitted to Hospital Due to Colectomy Surgery
According to Noisecreep.com, Spike Cassidy, a founding member and guitarist of Houston-based crossover legends D.R.I. was admitted to an undisclosed hospital due to complications from a colectomy surgery.
Cassidy received a colectomy, he had his entire colon removed, earlier this month that led to post-surgery infection. Doctors diagnosed and treated the issue, so he should be released from the hospital soon.
Diagnosed with colon cancer in 2004, Cassidy had one foot of his large intestine removed in 2006. Additionally, he received chemo and radiation therapy.
