Staind Reveals Name Of Tour With Godsmack As The "Mass Chaos" Tour
Apparently deciding not to take the suggestions of "Grunge is Dead but it's Keeping Us Alive," "We Couldn't Get Nickelback So We Got Each Other," "The Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Convention" or "The Barb Wire Tattoo Tour," Staind has now issued the following announcement about picking the winner of the band's contest to have fans name an upcoming tour with Godsmack:
"Hey all Staind fans, wanted to send a thank you to all those who participated in the Name the Tour contest. We're excited to announce the the official name of the tour is going to be the Mass Chaos Tour.
"In keeping up with our vision to have the fans be a part of the tour from beginning to end, we wanted to ask you to help us create a tour poster. We've teamed up with Creative Allies and will be giving the winning designer $500 and printing their poster in a limited run. Click here to learn more and get started today.
"Last but not least is the official tour routing announcement. Take a look below to see when we'll be in your neighborhood with Godsmack and Halestorm. Pre-sale opens up for the fan club on Wednesday 1/25 with the public on-sale Friday, 1/27. Who the f*** cares about Staind and Godsmack anymore? People living with cliche hard rock music from the late 90's are pathetic... Whoever in their right mind believes that 90's hard rock is good was probably shaken as an infant, so their uneducated opinions should and do get ignored.

Lol, whats with all the hate for staind? They dont try to be metal, they are strictly a hard rock band. And if you dont think aaron lewis has one of the best voices, clearly you either havent heard his solo sh**, dont listen to staind, or know sh** about good vocalists
Im an avid music fan, and a professional musician of 20+ years who has heard plenty of Aaron Lewis voice. I find it whiney and extremely annoying. There are numerous voices I'd rather hear than his, and there's absolutely nothing you can say or do to change my mind.
So you're better off dealing with the fact that there are several people who dislike him and his band. Rather than speaking in such rediculous absolutes.
Ya, I like ol Lewis country stuff that ya turned me on to Kdogg, and he is a talented singer, seen some interesting covers hes done a good job of live...just never could stomach staind. My sister used to be all happy about em and used to try to tell me they were metal :)
Godsmack is just terrible...years ago I boned this chick a few times that was all into them, and I always hated it...can't remember if that was the reason I ended up tellin er to Git, but it must have been at least part of it :)

I LIVE IN WESTERN MASS, AND WHEN I FIRST SAW THE TOUR NAME, THOUGHT IT WAS APPROPRIATE FOR TWO BANDS ORIGINATING IN THE STATE. ONE PROBLEM: THEY AREN'T PLAYING A SINGLE SHOW HERE!
