Christian power metal act Narnia officially called it a day back in 2010. Guitarist CJ Grimmark has now checked in with the following statement about the various projects of the former Narnia band members and teaser about upcoming plans:

"Hello and a happy new 2011 and 2012 (haven't been here for a while:) Sorry for the long silence! I hope You've all been well over the past 2 years. If anybody would be so kind and be a little curious about what's been going on, I'll gladly share some information with you.

"For those of You who have been here before You're most likely aware of the fact that NARNIA hasn't been around for a couple of years now. We officially split up in early 2010 and made two farewell concerts at Christmas Rocknight in Germany and Revolution Metal fest in Mexico City in late 2010.A lot of happenings and thoughts have passed since we decided to put Narnia to sleep...it's been a time of both confusion, and sometimes sadness, and well needed relaxation and blessings.

"Having been almost completely absent from the Internet and social media such as Myspace I'm guessing many of You have no clue what's been going on. So, to give You a brief update I have had the chance to make an album and tour with the new Swedish metal band Fullforce. The guys in the band are Mike Anderson, vocals (Cloudscape), Anders Johansson (Hammerfall, ex Yngwie Malmsteens Rising Force) Stefan Elmgren (ex Hammerfall) and Tommy Larsson (ex Heed). Keep Your eyes open for Fullforce in the future. I've had a truly GREAT time and lots of fun with these guys.

"I also had the great opportunity to play guitars AND keyboards with Christian rock pioneers Jerusalem in the summer of 2011.Playing with Jerusalem was blast in many way. Most of all in the spiritual sense - dare I say that very few christian rockbands focuses as wholeheartedly on their mission as Jerusalem?Hats of to Ulf Christiansson, Peter Carlsson and Micke Ulvsgärd. It's been a blessing to hit the winding roads with You (literally 'winding' especially in Norway:) On top of this I've done some shows together with a great friend, the illusionist Jimmy Carlsson. Jimmy is top notch in his field and You should check him out here.

"Some of You may have seen his shows in real life and some may have seen him on TV when he completely fooled the Swedish celebrities Bert Carlsson and Charlotte Perelli in the show 'Talang' (kind of 'Sweden's got talent' :) I've had the great honor to receive not less than 2 music-related scholarships during my time of "silence" here.First I got the much needed STIM Scholarship in 2010. STIM guards the rights of people's artistic work such as music and lyrics. To receive a financial boost from STIM is very welcome these days as it has been substantially more difficult to get paid for your music now that's it's supposed to be 'freeware' (!) Let's not get too deep into this, BUT - please, support the artists You like to listen too by buying their albums. Please don't let anybody fool uou into believing that musicians get a fair share of royalties from 'free' web-based music services. This is FACT and not just an opinion.

"Even more rewarding in an emotional way was to receive the Roland Utbult Scholarship of 2011. Big thanks to Roland and the jury for choosing ME out of all who applied for this.Roland Utbult has been a very influential christian artist in Sweden for several decades and he has decided to support fellow musicians together with the Swedish newspaper Dagen. He's now also working politically in the Swedish parliament.Again BIG thanks!!!

"So, what about the future? I'm not gonna say too much about it at this point...time hasn't come for that yet, but I'll let You know that I certainly have some great plans that I'm BURSTING to tell You all about!!! :) The above mentioned Scholarship funds will be used for this 'special occasion' that You will get to know of...in time :) Until next time - take care and God bless You all."
