King Fowley Unveils New Song Titles & Tentative Release Schedule
King Fowley, mastermind of horror metal icons Deceased, released information about the band's next album via his Facebook page. Fowley states "Ghostly White" will be the title of the new album. He is writing the album this year, hopes to record it in the summer and put out the record in winter 2013.
"Ghostly White" will feature the lineup of Mike Smith (guitar), Shane Fuegel (guitar), Les Snyder (bass) and King Fowley (vocals) and possibly drums. Raul Gonzalez will provide the artwork and the group plans to record at Assembly Line Studios.
The record will include a return to macabre tales and ghost stories culled from literature and film. Fowley envisions a "horror-tinged atmosphere production and some things to jingle-jangle your nervous system." Some of the song titles include "The Shivers," "In a Quiet Town,""Mr's Allardyce," "Poor Jessica's Drifted Away" and "A Palpitation's Warning."
"Ghostly White" follows Deceased's 2011 recording "Surreal Overdose." The release of "Surreal Overdose" marked the first Deceased album in six years.
