King's X Announces "First Church Of Rock And Roll" Tour

King's X will return to the North American tour circuit this spring for the band's first West Coast run in three years. Aptly named the "First Church of Rock and Roll" tour, the 4-week trek starts March 28th in Austin, TX and extends through April 21st in Denver, CO.

It will be the first time the band - bassist/vocalist dUg Pinnick, guitarist/vocalist Ty Tabor and drummer/vocalist Jerry Gaskill - has played most of these cities since 2009, and will mark the group's first West Coast dates in support of "Live Love In London," the live CD/DVD follow-up to latest studio release "XV."

What are you thoughts on King's X, btw?

I think they just keep on getting better and better, "Tape Head" being a bit of an average album (being polite here ;) for them.

Did you know that Dime was a King's X / Ty Tabor fan and their music worked as an inspiration for stuff like "This Love" and "I'm Broken"?
