Mordax has issued the following announcement about inking a deal with Ultimhate Records:
"We have finally signed a record deal with Belgian Ultimhate Records for the release of our debut album 'Violence Fraud Treachery.' The album will be released on CD in Europe (+Israel and Japan) and digitally in the rest of the world February 24th. The album was recorded in CB Studios and Redhead Recordings (Denmark) and mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö (Bloodbath, Opeth, Edge of Sanity, etc.) at Unisound, Örebro, Sweden."
Guitarist Ole Grarup comments: "We are extremely happy and proud to announce our cooperation with Ultimhate Records. We have chosen to work with Ultimhate Records, because they are able to offer us the dedication and professionalism about metal that we were looking for... We're very happy with the final result of 'Violence Fraud Treachery,' and working with Dan Swanö turned out to be great. Now we're looking forward to the album hitting the streets and the internet, so we can focus on live shows in Denmark and Europe, and on writing the next album."
The band is currently working on spring dates in Denmark as well as a European tour in support of "Violence Fraud Treachery." Listen to the songs "Trademark Strangulation" and "Monarch Of All" (with guest vocals from Dan Swanö) here.
