Reino Ermitano Starts Work On Fourth Album
Female fronted Peruvian doom band Reino Ermitano has commenced work on it's fourth album. Titled "Veneracion del Fuego," the album should be out later in 2012. Reino Ermitano also plans to tour Europe for the second time once the album drops. You may stream music from the band's earlier releases on MySpace and check out a YouTube video for the older track "Melquiades," which possibly gets it's title from the magician in Gabriel Garcia Marquez's literary work "100 Years of Solitude."

Hey... this is Marcos, bass player from Reino Ermitaño. Just wanted to announce that our new record, Veneración del Fuego (Worship of Fire), is done and will be released by Sweden's I HATE very soon. Much thanks for the attention. Here's a link with two songs from the album.

PS: Melquiades is indeed inspired by the García Marquez character... in fact, before we formed as Reino Ermitaño, myself and Julio, our drummer had a band named Melquiades, and that song came from that time, which is why we named it that. Cheers!
