Canadian heavy metal outfit 3 Inches Of Blood has announced that they will be soon entering the studio to begin work on their next studio album, which will be released sometime next year. The album will be recorded at Vogville Studios and Profile Studios in Vancouver with engineer and producer Terry Sho Murray, who also worked on the band's last 7".

Guitarist Shane Clark comments, "We 're in pre-production mode here in east van and we're writing our next blood soaked metal masterpiece!! We are keeping true metal alive, so fuck trends brothers and sisters!! Stay metal!!! You will hear from us very soon!!"

This band hasn't been the same since Fire Up The Blades. I hope they go more in that direction again.

Well either way they still are great live. I saw them play in February and they were amazing. I still love their music though.

These guys have definitely lost their spark since Jamie Hooper was forced to quit the band. Their last album was half-decent at best and I don't think their really capable of producing something as good as Fire Up The Blades or Advance And Vanquish.
