I'd put Death Angel over Forbidden personally.
Either way, I agree, nothing winds me up more than some interviewer asking a veteran thrash band if they feel bitter about not being considered part of the Big Four. They only do it in the hopes that the band will say, "Yeah! f*** Anthrax/Megadeth etc.!" and they can get a headline out of it.
Bobby is always very professional about those types of questions. Like he said he is also a fan of the music. For me, out of all the bands (Big Four, Little Four, what have ya) Overkill and Testament are the ones I listen to the most these days. With old Metallica probably coming in third. Put those two on one bill I'd prefer it over a Big Four show.
None of the big 4 stuff happens without Metallica. You can call it anything you want. For my money,Overkills latest,Testaments latest, and the last couple of Exodus records top anything that Metallica,Megadeth, has done in the last 20 years. Yea,put Testament,Exodus,Overkill, and Death Angel on a tour,im fvcking there! Hell, throw in Arizona thrashers Sacred Reich and Flotsam & Jetsam to sweeten the pot!
Blitz is one of the nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Interviewed him in Toledo in the 90's, and he was super cool. Very cordial, very accommodating and just as eager to hear about what was going on in the industry as much as he was excited to talk about Overkill. Spent almost an hour chatting on his tour bus, discussing topics as diverse as politics, metal, artwork his lady was creating, drinking ... seriously he is a great guy that has helped bring about some of the best metal music recorded. I am so proud that I was also a highschool kid lucky enough to be at the Phantasy in Cleveland (Lakewood) when they recorded the F*ck You! EP ... awesome, pure awesome.

Why no comments? Overkill is one of the best thrash metal bands in the world and they should replace Anthrax in the Big 4 or at least join Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer in the Big 5 lol
