Dropbunny Comments On Upcoming New "IO" Album
Melbourne seven-piece dropbunny has announced the band's second album will be titled "IO." The band commented on the album:
"Mixed at the award winning Woodstock Studios (Coco Rosie, Augie March, John Butler) by Cameron Trewin, and mastered by metal heavyweight Ue Nastasi (Slipknot, Strapping Young Lad, Clutch), this 18 track epic is darker, stranger and more confronting than anything the septet has released to date.
"Continually pushing their musicality to new heights, dropbunny supplement their crushing guitars, mind-bending rhythms and roaring vocals with violins, sitars, xylophones and electronics, including ad-hoc instruments made from rat traps, fish tank motors, and a power saw. This combines to make a furious yet eerie psychotropic landscape that explores the darker side of the human psyche."
The band has also released a four track preview of the album at this location. "IO" will be available from January 28th across Australia, as well as through iTunes, bandcamp, and the Dropbunny website.
