I The Breather To Enter The Recording Studio
I The Breather toured relentlessly in support of the debut full-length album, "These Are My Sins," alongside a variety of acts such as Oceano, For The Fallen Dreams, Upon A Burning Body and Close Your Eyes.
The band spent the last few months writing for a sophomore album and will kick off next year on a massive North American tour alongside August Burns Red. Head over to the band's Facebook profile to check out all tour dates and studio reports.
Morgan (drums) comments on preparing to record the new album, "We will be entering the studio on November 4th with producers Paul Leavitt and Taylor Larson. We are so very excited to be working with them. The record is currently in the pre-production stages and I am beyond happy with the direction the music is taking. The new songs feature a lot of technical drumming and dual guitar work, but it's very listenable at the same time. This disc offers a lot to the listener musically and vocally. On the last album we stuck to using one tempo and it was very one-dimensional. This new one will offer a ton more and I’m proud of that. I feel as though it’s a huge progression.
“This January we will be embarking on August Burns Red’s North American headlining tour. The package consists of great bands such as letlive. Texas In July and Silverstein. When we received the offer for this tour we immediately jumped on it, this is the tour we’ve been wanting for quite sometime. We are very close with ABR and TIJ and it’s going to be a blast to tour the states with those bands. We will play a couple of new songs on this tour, as well as release the new album during this time. We’re all very excited for this coming year and there is no better way to start it. We hope to see you all soon.”
