Metal Videos To Get You In The Halloween Mood Part 4: Monsters, Serial Killers, And A Warning

All Hallow’s Eve has finally arrived and it’s just about time to get the debauchery going full swing. Whether you’re getting the altar set up for a black mass or you just plan on drinking until werewolves and vampires seem like legitimate concerns, there’s a host of metal videos to help get the evening started right.

Earlier this month we showcased horror themed videos that went way over the top, focused on the devil and his minions, and then dipped into the atmopsheric and creepy videos. Now that Halloween is here we’ll finish off with monsters, serial killers, and even a few bonus clips.

Bleeding Through – “Kill To Believe”

The “Kill To Believe” video is like its own little mini redneck hillbilly horror movie. If you’ve seen all the “Wrong Turn” and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” movies a couple dozen times, this one’s for you.

Lordi – “Dark Floors”

Much like the almighty GWAR, Lordi is pretty much already in Halloween monster mode all the time, and any live appearance or video clip would fit the Halloween vibe. What many fans may not know is that Lordi actually got its own full-length horror movie called “Dark Floors.” You can check out the movie’s teaser trailer below or find an eight minute clip of the monster mania here. The entire movie is also currently available via Netflix streaming.

Autumns Eyes – “Feast of the Dead”

Solo metal act Autumns Eyes is gearing up to release a new (and heavily Halloween themed) album titled “Please Deceive Me.” While that release is still getting the finishing touches, you can take a walk down memory lane into Octobers past with the slasher themed “Feast of the Dead” clip.

Behemoth – “Alas Lord is Upon Me”

Plenty of Behemoth clips could easily fit the bill for exuding the Halloween spirit, but this one is my personal favorite as it focuses more on real human atrocities and is seemingly an indictment of horrors inflicted on the innocent by people in positions of religious authority. Check out “Alas Lord is Upon Me” below.

Send More Paramedics – “Zombie Crew”

Only brains can soothe the pain of being dead, which is why they should always send more paramedics! Special thanks go out to Ben for bringing this infectiously fun and “Return of the Living Dead” themed video to my attention.

Cephalic Carnage – “Ohrwurm”

As a final parting gift before you try to hook up with the lady in the sexy zombie nurse outfit, I leave you with this cautionary tale of love gone bad. I honestly have no idea how this hasn’t been banned from YouTube yet, so “enjoy” it while you can.
