Norwegian Black metallers DIMMU BORGIR have reportedly cancelled all of their Australian/Japanese dates that were scheduled to take place in early February. Although no official reason was given for the cancellation, it is believed that problems with the Japanese portion of the trek led to the decision to call off both tours. This is the second time Dimmu Borgir have cancelled an Australian tour, having previously axed what would have been their first-ever trip Down Under back in 1999. DARK FUNERAL will cover up for them, co- headlining with ZYKLON.

The affected dates are as follows:

Feb. 03 - Shibuya Club Quattro – Tokyo, JAP
Feb. 04 - Nagoya Club Quattro - Nagoya, JAP
Feb. 05 - Shinsaibashi Club Quattro - Osaka, JAP
Feb. 10 - The Arena - Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, AUS
Feb. 11 - The Metro – Sydney, AUS
Feb. 13 - HiFi Bar - Melbourne, AUS
Feb. 14 - HiFi Bar - Melbourne, AUS
Feb. 15 - Adelaide Uni - Adelaide, AUS

I'm getting sick off this bullsh**. How is metal supposed to grow and become reconized for other bands to tour Auzz if there's so many downers like this. That Sodom (Metal Warriors) cancerlation is what really hurt in many ways.. If a long waited band is to tour. Are we sposed to take it seriously. Like save up our penny's to go see them or is it just a f***ing rumor or will they cancle the tour. Maybe there's also the small lack of support for metal that comes into it as well. How is metal suposed to rise here if it doesnt get supported by us auzzies. I f***ing hate it as much as any metal fan that is hurt buy not seeing there favourite band live. We only live once and there's many bands I'd luv to see live.. Looks like I have to move over seas to f***ing see my favourite bands live... I dont care what any one says. For Me, METAL will never f***ing die. It's what I listening to and there's no stopping that. I will Always be Metal.....Dethian
