Metallica Posts New "Lulu" Teaser Trailer

Metallica has collaborated with Lou Reed to release the upcoming album "Lulu" on October 31st, 2011 (Worldwide) and November 1st, 2011 (North America). A new teaser for the upcoming album has now been posted online and can be heard in the clip below.

If Metallica wants ANYONE to buy this album (and I hope nobody does), they need to let us listen to A SONG OTHER THAN THE VIEW. One song? We're supposed to listen to ONE SONG over and over again and be expected to buy this album? I hope this tanks. I hope it's such a horrible stinker that Metallica records a true successor to Death Magnetic in a few months and releases it for free to make up for this travesty. I love Metallica, and I want to like everything they do, but damn it, they need to pull it together.

Guys, I had the weirdest dream about Metallica a few nights ago:
In my dream, Metallica actually Split up after the Black album tour!

They simply said, "enough is enough, we've done all that a we band can do. This is it. It's over, we're done, period".

Now, the Cliff Burnstein and the Q Prime Management (Metallica's management) were obviously very angry and disappointed, so guess what they did?

Well.. since they had an extremely well selling name, they simply found 4 Metallica look-alikes and a songwriting team!

In other words, since Load, the Metallica we know has absolutely NOTHING to do with the original 4 guys. James Hetfield isnt THE James Hetfield, Lars isnt the real Lars etc you get my point.

The Metallica we now know is a 4 member team that Burnstein and Q Prime prepped from the summer of 1994 till the release of Load in 1996.
The music is written by "behind the scenes" pros and the management.


Crazy huh?

Then again.... Metallica hasn't been the same since the Black Album. They even looked so different on Load... hmm ;)
