Sabaton Bassist Pär Sundström To Miss Rest Of North American Tour

Sabaton has issued the following announcement about bassist Pär Sundström missing the band's upcoming North American shows:

"The last shows in Canada was the first shows in 12 years that Pär had to sit over a show due to a knee injury caught during the bands current North American tour.

"Pär has after two days in hospital made the decision to return home and is now recovering. We have faith that Pär will be playing bass again on the closing shows of the world war tour and until then we will have a replacement bassplayer."

Pär sends the following message:

“It hurts to leave from the middle of a tour and I never thought I see the day when I had to pass on a show.

"I hope to see you all in the future and cannot wait to return to the stage that I love so much and specially North America to finnish what we started. The show must go on.”
