Trey Gunn Talks About King Crimson Departure
In an exclusive interview with Electricbasement.com, guitarist TREY GUNN explains his departure after ten years with legendary art rock/prog band KING CRIMSON, "I'd been doing it for 10 years. The Power To Believe record was coming up to a close and it finished up a cycle. I think Robert [Fripp] wanted to do something different, so I bowed out." He went on clarify the tone of the deaprture, "It might have seemed surprising from the outside, but it was an amicable situation." Meanwhile, Gunn has a new solo album called Untune the Sky out on InsideOutMusic.
