Tour Dates Announced For Thrash And Burn 2011 With Winds Of Plague, Chelsea Grin, And More
Come this November, Winds of Plague will be hitting the road with Chelsea Grin, As Blood Runs Black, For the Fallen Dreams, Upon a Burning Body, In the Midst of Lions, Like Moths to Flames, and Volumes for the "Thrash & Burn" 2011 tour.
In regards to this upcoming trek, Winds of Plague's Johnny Plague (vocals) comments: "We are very excited that our first US headlining tour in support of our new record 'Against The World' will carry the Thrash & Burn brand. In my opinion, this year's lineup is one of the heaviest lineups I've seen in a while. Each band will deliver their unique brand of crushing metal, and it will prove to be one hell of an evening for fans of heavy music. Our set will consist of an even balance of songs between our three records. We are pulling out all the stops for this tour--if you have seen us before, you've never seen us like how we will be on this tour."

CHANGE THE f***ING NAME! youd think a tour liket his would have it loaded with up and coming thrash bands. how much more thrash is out there this year than others? theres gonna be too many gymshort ninjas at everyone of these shows. get some bands like devildriver, havok, lazarus ad, kreator, IRON AGE, death angel, exhorder, revocation, warbringer, even unearth would be better...
Exactly overkill, false advertising on behalf of the promoters of this atrocity. Pass right over this, hope the kids enjoy this tour! Sadly,it will probably draw respectably. Not my cup of tea, wouldnt accept a free ticket for that Worcester show. Not "butt hurt" at all, just particular on who i see and spend my hard cash on! Kyuss Lives:600 attendance, this tour probably double, sad but fvckin true. Have fun kids.
^Look here now, this is your adolescent miscomprehension problem...these others don't necessarily mean to "trash" your goofy bands; no, they're merely pointing out that none of them are THRASH, your goofy bands...you see?
Quite simple...now settle down, and go on and have yourself a real good time at the Bad-Boi-Bop Band rally or whatever the f*** it should properly be called
this is a piss poor excuse for a tour...if you're gonna call it thrash and burn have some actual thrash bands...warbringer, municipal waste, toxic holocaust, overkill, these bands aren't even thrash-lite...between this and the world war 3 tour it seems tour names are big on over promising and under delivering...think i'lll pass on this show when they come to florida
Haha. Lmfao. Every one of you are f***in lame a$$ that just sit home jerk of to that internet porn wishin u had p***y in your life. But on that note seems like super duper thrashers need some f***in education. Welcome to the new erra you f***in jerk offs. Thats why these same bands that are on tv every day. Sale multipule of thosands of albums a day. And not that crummy sh** u call music. So back the f*** up and shut the f*** up. And if and bring that tough guy talk to the pit . N i promise ill f*** u up son. Repin louisville ky. We stand strong in this b****.
#28 thought c*** snouts humor was kinda funny myself! What about you Sally? Whats your excuse,eh? Thrash been dead for 20 years eh? What would you know about it? Congrats Nance, started playing guitar hero 4 years ago,now your some damn metal expert. People like you make me questain my love for the genre! Fvck your flip hair cut, girly pants, yellow v-neck,and most importantly,FVCK YOU!!!
I've seen half these bands already, and most of you are whiny asses forreal. Its not near as bad as you all are making it out to be. Last time I saw Winds Of Plague, the crowd was f***ing crazy. And I'm not talking about those bullsh** slam dancers. And I find it funny how everyone is b****ing about '15 people' shows. Every show I've been to, involving some of the said bands, had to have been a few hundred. Just saying. If you don't like the tour, don't buy a ticket. Simple as that.
Good lord in heaven where to start.
First off, sick tour. Too bad the bands I like have a sh**ty image. Might be going to the St.Louis show, if they ever announce where it'll be (probably The Pageant).
Second, "Thrash and Burn" =/= Genre of Thrash. If it would have been "The Thrash tour" Then I might be sympathetic to your ignorance. Research before posting would be nice.
Third. I am ashamed of the fans that like the same bands I do. Get back to class, you 14 year olds.
Lastly. If you don't like the tour, don't f***ing post. I don't want your opinion, and I definitely don't give a f*** what you have to say. I don't trash your bands, so don't do it to me, you idiotic ass.
tl;dr - read it.
i cant f***ing believe that all of these kids are most likely 13-17 and listen to this break down bullsh**. just because your making low noises and break downs doesn't make you a bad a$$ band, doesn't make you a cool dude, doesn't make you harder than most, doesn't make you any bit better than the other bands. i do like some bands that are considered "death core" like all shall perish and a few others.but i cant believe how hard you guys feel about yourselves. you guys are the exact mix between the guido bros and the roid rage Aryan fa**ots i completely want to expel from this planet. your music has no heart and soul. a guitar is meant to project harmony, melody, and other flawless tones that cannot be fully reached on other instruments. it is not a f***ing drum. rhythm is covered by your bass and drums. step the hell outta your second guitar lesson and actually know how to use your weapon before you think you can last more than 9 years in this industry....or as you probably see it......scene
I personally like all these bands, but id agree that the name doesnt make any sense. When i first heard about thrash and burn a few years ago i thought it was gonna be new and old thrash bands together, like mix warbringer, lazuras ad, and evile with killer old school bands still out tourin like kreator, testament, and exodus. That!...would be killer!!

I thoght it was going to be a thrash tour, not a fa**ot scene kid tour, they should change the name
