Suicidal Tendencies front man, Mike Muir will release Cyco Miko "The Mad Mad Muir Musical Tour" album in October. Former Suicidal Tendences/Infectious Grooves band mate, bassist Mike Trujillo (Metallica) joins the foray as well as Fletcher Dragge (Pennywise) and Brooks Wackerman. "The Mad Mad Muir Musical Tour" features new tracks from Cyco Miko and unreleased Infectious Grooves songs.

More than likely, Robert (having a more prolific musical past than Jason had at the time he was brought in) made sure he was not contractually bound to Metallica unless it involved recording or touring. Considering there more than likely won't be a tour for this "Lulu" fiasco, Robert could take a bit of time off after recording to do some work with Muir. Again, more than likely, considering the fevered egos we are talking about here, they cannot legally stop him. Unfortunately, we are no longer talking about a band, but a corporate run product. Metal up your ass, indeed...

This would be pretty cool - although I'm surprised James and Lars let Rob do this. Isnt that part of the reason they got p!ssed at Newsted cause he wanted to do some side projects?
