Yea,Carl that Nasty Savage cassette got chewed up in my 88 Mustang, along with a few other choice cassettes like Cities debut on Metal Blade. Never was able to replace them, maybe someday.

Great stuff. The more I see and hear, the more stoked I am for this record.

Although I wouldn't exactly label IE a "power metal" band. Their sound is totally their own.

I'm actually getting pretty psyched about this album too. I hope it turns out well. I felt like the last few were stale, whether Ripper or Barlow.

Im not sure what Iced Earths genre classification is. Elements of power, thrash, and classic heavy metal. I'll go with HR's description, real METAL! Works for me. Yea,HR,cool pics, dude. Bow season opened up here a couple days ago,im covering a ton of extra days at work for the next couple of months. Serious hunters here in the sticks of NH. NP: Aaron Lewis/ Country Boy

They still have enough power metal sound usually for me to call them power metal, while they don't really do much straight forward thrash. Definitely on the heavy end (vs melodic) of the spectrum for power metal though I think.

Was that a tiny snippet from the new album I heard at the very end? I don't know any Iced Earth songs to compare it to so I don't know if that was new material or not heh heh. Either way I enjoyed this video, and I really really can't wait for this new IE release. It's gonna rip.
