Metal Legends Take Stage With Anthrax
Band Photo: Slayer (?)
The second Metal Masters clinic took place tonight at the Best Buy Theater in New York City. Anthrax was scheduled to perform at 9pm EST, but what fans did not know is their special guest line up earlier in the night would make metal history. Frank Bello, Charlie Benante, and Scott Ian from Anthrax were joined on stage by David Ellefson of Megadeth, ex Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, Slayer's Kerry King, and former Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo. The Best Buy Theater erupted when the group broke into some of Pantera's most memorable hits. You can see video of the songs "A New Level" and "Fucking Hostile" below.

I can't believe how stubborn metal fans are. Really? No low end? Phil not sounding perfect after not performing Pantera songs for years? This represents something way more than just a chance for the band to sound immaculate.
Regardless, that low end comment made me die laughing. So f'ing stupid.
ya phillip is a bit toast and the guitars do sound a bit thin, but hell...i'd still a been glad to be there...as long as it don't include Sh!tallica or Megadump ya know! fvck that
seen all these guys multiple times in their own respective bands, (except for Porkface of AX7 :)...fvck that fvckin guy)...through the thick and the thin...have seen both phil and kerry fvcking SUCK...also have seen philip fvcking RIP it! kk, not so much...Hannemann ALWAYS fvcking owns...but he's much too modest to participate is junkshows like this
Anyway.... I hate anthrax, but I have a lot of respect for the Bald p***s...dude is a frikken Pioneer of modern metal as we know it: brilliant riffs....hate the band because of the crap singing
