Ghost Cancels Tour Dates With Enslaved Due To Visa Problems
Due to problems with the ghouls’ visas, Swedish heavy rock band Ghost will not be able perform on the upcoming tour with Enslaved and Alcest. The band will do its best to return for a full U.S. tour in the future.
A statement on the Ghost Facebook page reads as follows:
"Due to some last minute complications with our visas, we have been forced to cancel our North American tour.
"We are sorry towards the other bands on the tour, Enslaved and Alcest. And we are most of all tremendously sorry towards all of our fans.
"This is truly beyond our control and we are making everything within our (His) powers to be able to come back to the US as soon as possible and perform for all of you. Our most malicious of wishes."

I was really hoping to catch them live on the Alcest/Enslaved tour. To see firsthand if they lived up to the hype. While there certainly not metal in a conventional sense, thier album has grown on me,can definately hear a BOC/Mercyful Fate influence. A breath of fresh air imo. More and more bands from Europe are running into these visa problems in the last few years. Oh well,an extra long Enslaved set i'll gladly take.

VISAS? WHY THE HECK DO GHOSTS NEED VISA CARDS? CAN'T THEY JUST FLOAT OVER THE BORDER, OR MATERIALIZE OUT OF THIN AIR?
