I reckon if you look at like the sides of the Thirteen cover, it doesn't look that far removed from Endgame. Just with less people, different colour etc. I just had a listen to Sudden Death, Public Enemy No.1 and Black Swan on YouTube and I must say, I thought they were pretty weak.
I think i'll reserve judgement Oz until i hear the full record. The new song i heard that they did live wasnt all that gteat, but we'll see. I dont expect a modern version of Peace Sells from them, but if its along the same lines of thier last few,i'll be happy. NP: Raging Speedhorn/ How The Great Have Fallen
Eh! Boring cover if you ask me, like Oz the symmetrical hallway thing looks too much like the Endgame cover and if your album cover reminds me of that awful Jim Carrey movie 23 then you've got problems...
Who cares though really, music should be good.
Oz makes a good point though - the tracks are sort of snuck into the tracklist like new tracks so they're obviously not bonus material stuff. My answer: simply so Dave could have the 13th track as 13.
We all probably forget that Mustaine turns 50 this year. Trash him now and wax poetical about how great he was 10 years from now. Im sure some of the jocked on bands nowadays will have long careers, you know ,25 to 30 years. The djents, deathcores, dubsteps, etc;way of the future i guess! In 10 years im afraid djent will be nothing but a memory, not to be mentioned with a straight face! Np: Megadeth- Chosen Ones
I thought Jim Carrey was really good in 23, he played the disturbed role superbly for someone who is instantly typecasted as an affable goof, perhaps even better because of it. In fact I like him more, by far, in his semi-serious roles than his typical comedy ones. As for the movie itself, 23 was well written; it based its plausability solely on the fragility of the human mind while keeping suggestions of the supernatural blurred and out of focus - the audience can't be sure the film actually alludes to anything more unreal than the paranoid imaginings of an emotionally unstable man. It flirted with that Sin City-esque noir feel, too, which I also liked. Frankly, I don't see what everyone's beef with 23 is. Along with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I would say it is among Jim Carrey's best film of his career.
Megadeth has been fail for almost as long as Metallica and, like its slightly older twin brother, will continue to fail.

I have to wonder why they re-did New World Order and Millenium Of The Blind. Surely it would be better to have new songs on a new album?
