Cannibal Corpse Comments On The Progress Of New Album

Cannibal Corpse bassist and founding member Alex Webster has posted the following update online announcing that the band has begun recording its next full length album at Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas, working once again with producer Erik Rutan.
"After having spent the past 7 months writing and rehearsing new material, we’re very excited to finally begin recording. We’ve had great success working with Erik Rutan on our past two albums so we’ve decided to work with him again, but to keep things fresh we decided on a change of location – we’re returning to Sonic Ranch studios in Texas, where we’ve recorded several albums in the past. We are psyched to see how this combination works out- we feel it’s pairing that could result in our best album yet."
The new album will the be follow up to 2009's "Evisceration Plague" which is available through Metal Blade Records.

DF fanpage responded to me via email and on FB
i called them out on a NA tour, email / fb message stated they are working on it...
Both cannibal corpse & funneral toured europe i believe and they hit it off a handfull of years back..
Didnt they were, but putting 2&2 together knowing corpse will be touring here next year and funneral is touring the world...
Its a strong possibility...

new cannibal corpse! this is great news! evisceration plague was a great album. the only thing that i don't like about this band is their live penchant for hair-twirling in unison. it just looks plain silly to me.
