Metallica And Lou Reed Reveal "Lulu" Album Cover

American heavy metal legends Metallica have posted the front cover of their forthcoming album, "Lulu" online, which is a collaboration album with the innovative former Velvet Underground frontman, Lou Reed. You can check it out below. "Lulu" will be released in Europe on October 31st and will hit North American shelves the following day on November 1st.

The record is based off of German expressionist Frank Wedekind's early 20th century plays Earth Spirit and Pandora's Box, and were a rewrite of Edgar Allan Poe's, The Raven, which emerged as a graphic novel on Fantagraphics Press. Some of the song titles set to appear on the album include, "Junior Dad," "Little Dog," Mistress Dread" and "Pumping Blood."

Before everyone complains about it not looking like Master of Puppets, guess what, that's because it isn't supposed to be. This is basically a Lou Reed album with Metallica as a backing band so I wouldn't expect anything else.

Sigh Metallica, this is such a poor album cover. Just to look at it makes you think it could be a new album by Lady GA GA. The only metal theme to the image is the fact that LU LU looks like it's written in blood, either that or strawberry jam? Death Magnetic was amazing and i wanted more of it, NOT A LOU REED BACKING BAND!!!
