Actually according to Mike Judge there will not be music videos for this season. It will be clips of stuff like "Jersey Shore" or funny commercials.

to #6 yeah, and it's probably because there aren't any music videos good enough! There's only 4 kinds now. 1 is country. Bleh. 2 is that annoying rap/mainstream sh**. Bleh. 3 are recycled from the 80s and 90s by VH1 Classic and Headbangers Ball. Alright, but we need something good from OUR generation. And 4, all that annoying whiny indie-rock bands that think they're so "alternative."

So yeah, probably a good move by Mike Judge to keep Beavis and Butt-Head preoccupied on other things. Cuz music videos nowadays freaking "suck."

^ Another way to look at it is that the MTV clips are a reflection of what is currently on MTV. They stopped focusing on music videos long ago, and have flooded their programming with reality shows.

Loved the skewer of "Joisy shoor".
"That's the way she answers the phone." LMAO.

Drum_Junkie, thats a nice way to explain that. I think they should rip on the candy rap MTV cranks out anyway.

^ It'd be neat to see them rip on shows like South Park and Family Guy too... shows that were influenced by B&B.

Drum_Junkie: I know, right? And "That's how she answers the phone" had me rollin'!

Honestly, Mike Judge should have Beavis and Butthead rip on anything he damn well pleases. Its such a simple format that you could have them watch anything. They could be watching C-Span and have good material

If there are no music videos, I will not watch this show. I have made it a goal of mine to never watch one second of reality crap like the Jersey Shore, which to this day I have achieved. Not even Beavis and Butt-Head can make me watch that crap.

Love Beavis and Butthead but I have to agree with Bruno. Reality TV is one aspect of pop culture that I have avoided passionately and successfully. It's not easy considering how saturated every facet of the media is with it.
