Salem's Wych 'Betrayer of Kings' CD Is an Illegal Bootleg

When contacted about the new Sun Knight re-release of Salem's Wych "Betrayer of Kings", Mark Gast responded:

"It is not an official release it is a bootleg, once again someone is ripping off our fans with a bootleg claiming it is the real deal."

"This CD is a copy from the LP onto a CD. I have not even heard of Sun Knight Records and we have no contract with them. I have instructed our lawyers to follow this through and we will seek damages to the fullest extent of the law for ripping off our fans. Any money we do get from any lawsuit we will not not take for personal gain but rather will figure a way to put it back into the show or in someway give it back to our true fans. This is not about money this is about what is right."

"I own the Trade Mark, Name, Publishing and Copeywrites and have never given permission to anyone to re-issue "Betrayer of Kings" as a CD ever. The only offical release at this point is whatever was left of the original pressing of the LP ."

"We (Salem's Wych) will be re-releasing "Betrayer of Kings" via select distributors and our web site ( www.salemswych.com) this July. The official re-release will include additional bonus material on CD. Wait until then and get the official re-release with the bonus material and band photos. We will also have our new album " Through All Eternity" out very soon."

Just release the cd through your web site already and end the bootlegging. It is a simple solution.
