The Contortionist To Re-Release Debut Album "Exoplanet" On Vinyl

Indianapolis act The Contortionist has unveiled new images of the upcoming picture-disc vinyl release of the band's debut album "Exoplanet." The picture-disc is set to be released by Good Fight Music on September 13th, 2011. The Contortionist released the CD version of "Exoplanet" with Good Fight Music on August 31st, 2010.

The Contortionist will be taking part on the "Frak the Gods" tour with Periphery, The Human Abstract, and Textures. The dates are as follows:

Very impressive debut album from this new band. I often compare them to BTBAM (which means a lot). I think The Contortionist can have a great career, and if their subsequent albums mature and progress beyond their first the MU community will be full of praise for this band.

For anyone curious about the band just listen to the song "Flourish" and you'll be a fan.
