An interesting collaboration idea, but I can honestly say I'm merely curious as opposed to actually excited, despite my utmost respect for Lou Reed.

I'm gonna give this a listen and be disappointed. I can already feel it in my "I don't like new Metallica" bones.

I'll listen to it online, be dissapointed, realize Metallica hasn't been good since the 90's, and move on.

so metallica fans are expecting this to be a metallica album with lou reed, so i'm wondering - are lou reed fans expecting it to be a lou reed album with metallica? as Kirkfann1 pointed out, it's a collaboration, with which i agree, making it neither of the above.

not saying it's going to be the greatest album ever, just tired of the whining about metallica needs to do this or that, or return to their roots - whatever this record is, it's not going to be any of that cause it ain't a metallica record!!!! save the whining for the actual article post stating metallica is writing new metallica material!
