Dutch melodic death metal band God Dethroned has reunited to play at the 2012 70,000 Tons of Metal festival in Florida.
The band announced the news this morning on the God Dethroned Facebook page, stating "We've just been confirmed for 70.000 tons of Steel!!!" before correcting the mistake minutes later to say, "70.000 tons of METAL, of course!"
70,000 Tons of Metal will take place from January 23rd through January 27th in Miami, Florida.

Whats sad is God Dethroned packed it in when they were just starting to gain some ground. Thier last two albums were so fvcking good! I think H.Sattler just got sick of touring, wish they would continue to release stuff. A history lesson from Henri every time out, dude knows his ww1 and ww2 history. They will be missed! Glad i saw them on Overkills killfest tour.

All of a sudden, I have a MASSIVE reason to buy those tickets for 70,000 tons of metal. Give us a tour as well!
