Alice Cooper, Slash And More Remember Former Warrant Singer Jani Lane

Following the recent announcement of the death of former Warrant singer, Jani Lane, a number of his peers have posted messages of condolence online. Some of the tributes read as follows:

Slash: "Just heard about Jani Lane. What a shame. RIP man."

Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue): "I just heard the sad news about Janie Lane. So hard to swallow when people have kids. RIP."

Bret Michaels (Poison: “We'd like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of Jani Lane regarding their loss. Respectfully, Bret and all at MEGI.”

Alice Cooper: "Our thoughts go out to our fallen brother Jani Lane, his family, his friends and his fans."

Professional wrestler and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho stated: "Sad to hear about the passing of Jani Lane. Jani was a good guy and one of the best songwriters in the late 80s Dog Eat Dog-very underrated.”

Steven Adler: "I'm so sad that I lost another dear friend to this horrible disease. I've known Jani for over 30 years and he had a heart of gold. Luv u bro."

James Michael (Sixx: A.M.): "R.I.P. JANI LANE."

Wednesday 13: Just heard, so sad...former Warrant Singer Jani Lane Dead At 47, R.I.P.

Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed): "Sad news about Jani Lane. 47 is too young to go."

Jani Lane was found dead yesterday in a hotel in California. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
