I enjoyed this. I always like watching instruments get slammed on in slow motion. Looks cool. I think Chimaira's still got it. Hopefully they won't disappoint.

R10, you're lucky I only saw them once. But it was an amazing show. So far the 3 songs I've heard have been good. I heard some recycled lyrics on Born In Blood, but the rest of the song is so brutal it doesn't even bother me heh heh.

Yea this band is far beyond metalcore. Rob Arnold is a really great guitarist. I'm gonna have to see these guys again since you put it like that.

Chimaira has always been an ups-and-down kind of band. Impossibility of Reason was good, but their recent album just didn't have it. Looks like they may be headed up again.

Hell, I liked The Infection, and the album before that, and Impossibility. The first two grooved and were fast paced and then The Infection slowed down. But I liked the riffs slowed down. Felt like they hit a little harder. I just enjoy Chimaira all around and I'm glad this album wasn't disappointing like I thought it was gonna be.
