Blind Greed Goes On Extended Hiatus

Blind Greed vocalist Clyde has announced that he's placing the band on hiatus. Here's what he had to say about it:

"It is with a heavy heart that I must inform everyone that Blind Greed is currently on an extended hiatus for an undetermined ammount of time. I'm moving in a different direction musically right now and feel that it would be best to step back and form something new rather than try to change Blind Greed into something that it isn't and thus tarnish the legacy of what we're known for here and abroad. I wish my brothers in Blind Greed the very best in their current and future endevors. I also look forward to working with my brothers in Blind Greed again should the opportunity present itself. Book the show and I will play it gentlemen."

Blind Greed was demoing songs for a potential fourth album. The band contributed a cover of Type of Negative's "Christian Woman" for Metalunderground.com's tribute to Peter Steele, "All For None, None For All: A Tribute to Peter Steele," earlier this year, which would be their final recording together to date.
