Gwar Splits With Bassist Beefcake The Mighty (Casey Orr)

Gwar has checked in with the following two brief Facebook updates about parting ways with bassist Beefcake the Mighty:

"It's true, Casey Orr has left GWAR. The split was expected and completely amicable, and we wish him the best."

"You fools...it is true Casey has left, but Beefcake the Mighty lives on! And GWAR continues to RULE."

Gwar has also announced the final lineup for the band's upcoming GWAR-B-Q in September. Full details are available by heading over to this location.

Yeah this sucks, though hopefully Casey is carrying on with Rigor Mortis though, they definitely need a new album.
