ive been a fan of these guys since 2002, i have all of their cds so far and look forward to this one. if you listen to their music from the first album to the last, they have evolved so much. every aspect has become more talented, the music is becomeing more technical, and the vocal range is crazy. very talented guys. as a musician myself, i hate to say it, but the american music industry is dead..... everyone sounds the same (imo). dir en grey has always been a breath of something fresh for me. i havent heard anything from them i dont like. dir en grey (IMHO) is a band that remindes me of nothing else, they can only be described as dir en grey. lml

When i first got into Dir En Grey, they were so unusual and talented and i immediately sought after their music especially stuff off Gauze. This . . . this sounds like stripped down monkey work with the tazmanian devil singing. Just growl, crunch, and noise. What happened to the melodies? It sounds more like DEG trying to sound mainstream instead of themselves to me. Maybe others will agree, maybe not.
