Pathology Reveals New Album "Awaken To The Suffering" Details
San Diego's Pathology is currently finishing the mixes for the band's new album. The effort, produced by Daniel Castleman (As I Lay Dying, Winds of Plague, Impending Doom) at Lambesis Studios, is entitled "Awaken to the Suffering" and will be released September 13th, 2011. Once again, the band has utilized the talents of Par Olofsson to handle the artwork.
“The recording came out great. This is by far the best thing we have ever done. Everything is extremely heavy and very tight,” explains drummer Dave Astor. “It's great working with Par again on this cover. He did an amazing job. We decided to do a pencil sketch cover this time around. We also brought back the evil doctor to continue the zombie havoc.”

The quintet will head on tour August 26th, beginning with some headlining dates in Texas before joining Sweden’s Grave and Norway’s Blood Red Throne on August 30th for a North American tour.

So tell me is this band worth checking out? Im a bit iffy on Cattle Decapitation. There album covers remind me of Necrophagia and Morpheus Descends.
