I've still not entirely warmed up to it yet. Picked it up because I loved their past 3, but still working through this one.

I actually like the new one, nothing groundbreaking, but Unearth give me what i need. Guitar. Work seems to improve album from album, some clean singing, which does'nt kill it imo! Look forward to seeing them in 10 days, they will destroy small stage Mayhem. I mean their up aginst Suicide Silence for christs sake!

From what I've come to understand R10, Suicide Silence puts on a good live show, but Unearth is gonna kill onstage it'll be great. I still haven't got tickets yet but I'm definitely going to before the end of this week.

But yea I also agree with what you said about the album not being groundbreaking. It isn't but it's a great album. They never seem to disappoint. I only noticed one thing that sort of irked me. I forget which song but one of the solos on that new album had a section that came straight from The March. Not a major problem but I noticed it.

Its pretty tough for metalcore to be ground breaking these days. The only thing that I don't like so much on the album is Kens clean Vocals.I know he has done some on previous albums, but i thought Unearth was straying away from them since the album III . I guess if you want to keep things fresh, then you have to change things up a bit.
