Rwake Posts "Rest" Cover Artwork Online

The cover art for Rwake's forthcoming album and follow-up to 2007's "Voices of Omens," titled "Rest," can be seen now below. Rwake recorded "Rest" at Engine Studios in Chicago, IL with noted engineer Sanford Parker. The album will see its North American release on September 27th on CD, digital, as well as pressed on olive green and 180 gram black vinyl.

Rwake also recently saw the re-issue of the 2002 release "Hell Is A Door To The Sun" this past March. The long out of print album has been re-mixed by Sanford Parker, re-mastered, and re-packaged to include new artwork, photography, and liner notes from the band.

The band has confirmed a hometown show at Downtown Music Hall in Little Rock, AR for later this month. Additional tour plans will be announced soon.

Finally!!!!! Rwake are actually going to release the follow up to what I considered one of 2007's album of the year candidates. Can't wait to hear this. Although, I have a feeling it will have that same semi-polished Sanford Parker sound that all his albums do...which isn't necessarily a bad thing...
