Finland's Dead Shape Figure (which recorded a cover of "Dead Again" for Metalunderground.com's digital Peter Steele tribute album) has been writing a new album that will be the follow-up to the 2010 release "The Disease Of St. Vitus." The band has now checked in with the following recording update:

"Since the lineup has changed a little bit after the release of The Disease of St. Vitus (Kride left, Neissu came back) we decided to book a studio to record some new songs so we are heading to the good ol' D-Studio during next month... We are gonna record 2-3 new songs and we will put one new song out for you guys! You can view the song writing progress on YouTube. Cheers!"

Two clips of the band's writing process can be viewed after the jump, and the currently announced song titles for the new recordings are as follows:

1. Bläkkirokkivaino
2. Grippihoontti
3. Groove
4. Oopiumin hajuinen Megadeth
5. Punkkilänkkäri
6. DoomiAlice...
