ICS Vortex, former Dimmu Borgir and current Borknagar/Arcturus member, comments on the track: "This song was written way back when I still felt black metal was dangerous. Now, totally untrue to all that, it's a tribute to the only beast I ever loved."

The ICS Vortex lineup is as follows:
ICS Vortex – Vocals (ex Dimmu Borgir, Borknagar, Arcturus)

Terje "Cyrus" Andersen – Guitar (Susperia, ex Satyricon, ex Dimmu Borgir)
Jens F. Ryland – Guitar (Borknagar)

Vortex was solemn used in Dimmu Borgir. He was one of the largest reasons i listened to Dimmu B. Whenever it came to his solo in the music, it symbolized pure power and triumph. out of all the singers and instruments in his former band, his victorious voice rang the loudest.
-all hail the truest and most pure voice of black metal.
